    Hi,
Is this walking group going? My dad just moved to Rome NY area a couple months ago and is pretty lonely. We lived in Syracuse until 15 years ago when my mom and dad retired to Florida. He has moved back to live with family in Rome. He is 88 but can walk a mile in a half an hour. To be honest he is more looking for fishing buddies than walking buddies but maybe in time that could happen too! Are there men who show up on a regular basis such that he could make friends?
Also, seeing the name on this group for Bryan Urbanik brought back a fond memory of a lady from the area named Anne Urbanik who organized baton twirling competitions at the Boonville Fair so many years ago…made me wonder if there is a family connection there? Just seeing this name brought back one of my best childhood memories of Miss Anne taking me with her daughter to Indiana for the national baton twirling competition. I am wondering if there is a family connection?
    Thanks,
    Leslie Nowicki
